If your claim was denied, hopefully you’re being represented by competent counsel, because at this point you need legal help. Some people do not hire an attorney, but they’re making a mistake. The attorney only gets paid, by the way, if he wins the case. In any event if you take nothing away from this series of videos, take this away. You have sixty days to file an appeal to the next level. If you fail to file an appeal within that time, you have to start the whole process all over and you probably will lose your back benefits, so you need to file your appeal within sixty days.
